Wednesday 13th July: Welcome Back Party at Botanica
All UTAS students are invited to join us in the loft area at Botanica from 6pm-10pm on Wednesday the 13th of July to celebrate the start of the new semester. Meet and mingle with students during the first week of semester, and enjoy music and food platters, as well as drink specials at a cash bar specifically for attendees ($9 pints of Cascade Pale Ale and Somersby Cider; $9 glasses of house sparkling). Tickets are $10 per person and numbers are limited, so get in quick to avoid missing out!

Tuesday 20th July: Your Grad Gig Guide & Next Level Resume Writing Workshop
‘Your Grad Gig Guide’ 5:00pm to 6:00pm. This session will open with an overview of the current employment market in Tasmania, following this a panel will discuss what their current staffing structure is i.e. types of roles they offer, recent recruitment activities, what made candidates stand out and what a ‘best practice’ resume looks like to them. In addition the panel will explain what they expect from candidates in their application/cover letter as well as pre, post and during an interview.
‘Next Level Resume Writing Workshop’ 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Following on from the Panel event, we will be highlight recent resume trends and best practices whilst encouraging attended to work on their own resumes taking the knowledge they have learnt from the evening.
